Our story

How it all began

A few chapters from our life that led us to this day.

Spring 2019
A chance meeting
Mutual friends introduced us at a birthday in a little café by the river. One conversation lasted until morning.
Summer 2020
Our first trip
Two weeks together, backpacks and mountains. That is when we knew we wanted to walk through life the same way.
Winter 2023
A home together
We made our first nest — favourite books, plants on the windowsill, and endless plans for the future.
Autumn 2025
The proposal
At the same spot by the river where it all began, the question was asked — and the ring found its finger.

Most of all, be comfortable

We'd love it if your outfit echoes our wedding colours: deep teal, peacock, copper, bronze and ivory. Light, flowing fabrics for the day; something a little more formal for the evening. Please leave pure white for the bride.

Questions & answers

Please arrive by 1:45 PM so we can begin the ceremony at 2:00 PM.

Refined in teal and copper — see the Dress code section above.

The ceremony is by the water (weather permitting); the reception is inside.

We've chosen an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and dance.

Good to know

A few extra details to help the day run smoothly.

We can't wait to celebrate with you by the water. Here are a few things we're often asked — and a link to our gift registry, should you wish to give something.

  • The nearest pharmacy is on Quay Street, open until 8 PM.
  • Sea breezes pick up after dark — a light layer is wise.
  • A late shuttle runs to the harbour hotels at midnight.
